Dental Technology

The field of dentistry is always changing, and at Jennifer L. Moran, DDS we have developed an effective strategy of incorporating new advancements in technology while maintaining traditional, proven methods. Dr. Moran always has your best interest at heart, and she has extensively researched benefits and potential drawbacks produced for patients before any technology is ever implemented. She strives to continuously improve the quality of service and has used following technologies to do so. Contact our office for these dental technologies in Salinas, Prunedale, or Soledad.

Digital X-Rays

Highly detailed images and important information can be obtained through the use of digital X-rays. Looking inside your jaw and bone structure, Dr. Moran can use these Digital X-rays to diagnose problems that would otherwise remain hidden. However, X-rays can be harmful and can even cause cancer with prolonged exposure, which is why heavy lead vests are used. That potential danger is one of the reasons why Dr. Moran uses a digital X-rays at her office. As well as providing one of the highest quality digital images, it also reduces the amount of radiation by 80 percent when compared to traditional X-ray systems. It is a great asset to have in our office. Contact us for additional information on digital X-rays in Salinas, Prunedale, and Soledad.

Intraoral Cameras

One of the most beneficial pieces of technology we have at Jennifer L. Moran, DDS is an intraoral camera. This allows us to view detailed images from even the most hard to reach places in the mouth. This has added benefits to patients, allowing Dr. Moran to effectively investigate and diagnose potential problems. This extra point of view is sometimes needed during more complex procedures and we are happy to implement it at our office while improving our service for Salinas patients. To have intraoral pictures taken with your next dental exam contact our office today.
